Staff Product Manager, Billing

Lead the billing platform for Navan's Reed & Mackay business line, owning travel invoices and billing workflows across global markets. Partner with tax, accounting, and travel domain experts to build accurate, compliant, and scalable billing products that support international expansion and financial operations.

• Proven extensive experience in product management with complex cross-functional projects • Deep understanding of billing, payment systems, and financial regulations • Experience with VAT compliance, invoicing standards, and e-invoicing • Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and regulatory documents • Ability to translate complex requirements into clear product vision • Demonstrated leadership managing multiple stakeholders in regulated environments • Strong communication skills with ability to lead without direct management

• Background in travel industry billing and invoicing • Experience with Reed & Mackay or corporate travel management systems • Knowledge of global tax and accounting regulations across multiple jurisdictions • Technical understanding of payment gateway integrations and financial APIs • Experience building products for enterprise finance teams • Familiarity with global e-invoicing standards and compliance frameworks

• Serve as internal subject matter expert on billing, payments, and invoicing • Define product vision and roadmap for seamless financial operations and global expansion • Own complete product lifecycle from ideation to launch and performance monitoring • Deliver billing features including payment forms, VAT compliance, and e-invoicing • Partner with engineering, finance, legal, and operations to solve financial challenges • Spearhead product strategy for billing and commerce initiatives supporting global growth • Partner with design, data, user research, and product marketing teams • Identify market trends and pressing user needs to build forward-looking products
