Software Engineer, Cloudforce One

• Own entire software development lifecycle for threat disruption and legal response systems • Translate complex legal and security requirements into robust, scalable, high-performance applications • Work with technologies including Golang, TypeScript, Rust, Kafka, Redis, Kubernetes, Terraform, Temporal and PostgreSQL • Leverage incredibly vast data points from one of world's largest global networks • Make direct impact on making internet better, safer, and more powerful every day

• Hold at least 5 years of experience building large-scale software applications, preferably distributed systems • Design and integrate RESTful APIs and/or gRPC services • Demonstrate knowledge of SQL and common relational database systems such as PostgreSQL • Write production ready code in Go and/or TypeScript • Show familiarity with Rust • Apply excellent debugging and optimization skills • Maintain expertise in writing well tested code • Express interest in opportunities to be technical mentor for teammates

• Work in Trust & Safety and Legal domain space • Understand DNS, TLS/SSL and HTTP deeply • Apply expertise in web security issues and industry standards for access control • Use Kafka in production environments • Build web applications using React • Operate Kubernetes clusters • Work with Redis

• Design, build, run, and scale distributed tools and services supporting cyber threat disruption and Legal Response efforts • Develop critical data pipelines and services to collect, analyze, and expose threat intelligence data for Cloudforce One analysts and customers • Extend, improve, and maintain mission-critical Trust & Safety solutions including CSAM Scanning Tool and legal compliance pipelines • Collaborate closely with Threat Operations, Trust & Safety, Legal, and Product teams to translate complex technical requirements into scalable solutions • Improve system design and architecture ensuring stability, performance, and maintainability of compliance and security services • Analyze, communicate, and help prioritize complex technical concepts across teams • Monitor and maintain production services including participation in on-call rotations • Mentor and guide other developers promoting best practices for writing well-tested, modular, and reusable code
