💼 What you will do

• Shape pricing, packaging, and monetization strategy for GitLab’s AI-powered DevSecOps platform. • Translate sales, product usage, and billing data into pricing recommendations. • Build models, dashboards, and measurement frameworks to guide pricing decisions. • Support monetization of AI and compute-intensive features, including GitLab Duo.

📋 Job Requirements

• Demonstrate experience in pricing or business analytics within a SaaS environment. • Apply advanced SQL and statistical analysis using Python or R on large datasets. • Build and maintain BI dashboards using Tableau to monitor pricing performance. • Assess discount effectiveness and provide data-driven deal guidance. • Evaluate and operationalize usage-based pricing models aligned to customer value. • Apply pricing research methods such as Van Westendorp, Gabor-Granger, conjoint, and MaxDiff. • Communicate clearly with cross-functional teams and present findings to senior stakeholders. • Hold a background in finance, economics, statistics, business analytics, or a related quantitative field.

• Experience monetizing AI and compute-intensive features. • Familiarity with competitive pricing analysis in enterprise SaaS. • Experience establishing experimentation frameworks for pricing initiatives. • Knowledge of survey design and willingness-to-pay methodologies. • Ability to operate effectively in an all-remote, globally distributed team.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Analyze pricing performance using sales, product usage, and billing data. • Build Tableau dashboards that track pricing metrics, usage patterns, and discount trends. • Develop predictive and scenario models to forecast impact across customer segments. • Recommend thresholds, units, and tiers for usage-based offerings. • Partner with Product Management to refine pricing metrics for AI and compute-heavy features.       • Conduct pricing research and synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights. • Establish measurement frameworks to evaluate pricing initiatives. • Provide analytical support to Sales and Finance for deal structuring and discount policy. • Communicate insights and proposals to senior leadership and drive cross-functional alignment.
