C++ Engineer - Premium Products

• Help improve Brave's premium product offerings on Desktop. • Integrate with and deliver new premium products such as Brave VPN. • Work on integrations with the operating system and desktop browser. • Collaborate with developers and privacy/security experts. • Take existing premium integrations with the Desktop browser to the next level. • Create new premium products in a privacy-focused environment.

• 5+ years experience with desktop application development. • Strong C++ development skills. • Working experience with writing JavaScript. • Experience with software development via distributed development teams. • Experience with C++ unit and integration testing. • Comfortable working in an open source setting. • A passion for helping protect users' privacy and security. • Written and verbal communication skills in English. • Proven record of getting things done.

• Shell programming experience on Windows, macOS, or Linux. • Experience with the Chromium code base or other similar browser code base. • Development experience with WireGuard.

• Develop and maintain premium product features on Brave Desktop browser. • Build integrations between premium services and the operating system. • Write and maintain unit and integration tests for C++ code. • Collaborate with distributed development teams across multiple time zones. • Contribute to open source projects and codebases. • Work with privacy and security experts to ensure product quality.
