About the role

💼 What you will do

• Help build the bank of the future and supercharge user engagement in 2025. • Lead the data strategy and evolve Monzo to make managing money magically simple for customers. • Develop and execute best practices for experimentation enabling data-informed decisions. • Collaboratively set standards and work with data across Monzo, fostering knowledge sharing and improving practices. • Work closely with leaders in product, engineering, design, and research to build and iterate on product ideas. • Enable Monzo to make better decisions faster through powerful, real-time analytics. • Focus on impactful business questions while 90% of day-to-day decisions are covered by self-serve Looker analytics. • Contribute across squads including Borrowing, Growth, Payments, Fincrime, Wealth, or Core based on skills and aspirations.

• Enjoy working with cross-functional fast-moving teams. • Think strategically about commercial products and how data-driven decisions unlock customer value. • Excited about mentoring other data scientists and analytics engineers. • Excited by experimentation and utilizing new data techniques to solve challenging problems. • Want to understand data nuances and lay foundational knowledge for new products and features. • Opinionated about measuring success and willing to challenge the status quo. • Able to work in a strong culture of data-driven decision making.
