Data Analyst - Product Analytics

Join Cloudflare as Data Analyst to scale product analytics initiatives as a trusted data advisor to the product organization. Analyze diverse datasets to inform product decisions ranging from reporting and ad-hoc analysis to strategic roadmap-influencing projects. Work with the Data Intelligence & Analytics team to democratize data and support critical business needs across all business functions.

• Hold B.S. or M.S in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or other quantitative fields. • Bring 4+ years of experience in centralized data analytics team with close working partnerships with business stakeholders. • Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries with proven ability to performance-tune queries and manage analysis workflows against petabyte-scale datasets. • Show mastery of advanced SQL skills including window functions and common table expressions (CTEs). • Possess 4+ years experience using Tableau to build and communicate data stories to technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Have 2+ years experience working in version control environment using platforms such as Gitlab or Github. • Show experience with data ingestion and transformation frameworks such as dbt, Fivetran, or custom platforms. • Display initiative, curiosity, and strong stakeholder engagement and empathy. • Translate business questions into analysis frameworks, convert results into business recommendations, and present findings to stakeholders.

• Have experience or keen interest in internet security. • Show proven analytics experience in fast-growing technology, SaaS, or subscription-based business. • Possess experience with statistical analysis programming languages such as Python or R.

• Provide analytics support, product understanding, and strategic perspective to product partners. • Partner with data engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to enable data-driven answers to key business problems. • Take initiative to define, build, and maintain business metrics and reports. • Develop and automate data pipelines and reports to enable insights at scale. • Weave stories with data to help stakeholders understand analytical insights.
