Data Analyst

Cloudflare is seeking an experienced Data Analyst or Senior Data Analyst in London or Lisbon to scale product analytics initiatives. You will serve as a trusted data advisor to the product organization, analyzing diverse datasets to inform product decisions ranging from reporting and ad-hoc analysis to strategic roadmap-influencing projects. Success requires combining strong analytics with product and business acumen to deliver strategic insights that accelerate growth and influence product decisions.

• Hold B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or other quantitative fields. • Possess 4+ years of experience in centralized data analytics team with close working partnerships with business stakeholders. • Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries with proven ability to performance-tune queries and manage analysis workflows against large petabyte-scale datasets including window functions and common table expressions (CTEs). • Show 4+ years experience using Tableau to build and communicate data stories to technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Have 2+ years experience working in version control environment using platforms such as Gitlab or Github. • Display experience with data ingestion and transformation frameworks such as dbt, Fivetran, or custom in-house developed platforms. • Exhibit initiative, curiosity, and strong stakeholder engagement and empathy. • Prove experience translating business questions into analysis frameworks, converting results into business recommendations, and presenting those to stakeholders.

• Show experience and keen interest in internet security. • Demonstrate proven analytics experience in fast-growing technology, SaaS, or subscription-based business. • Display experience with statistical analysis programming languages such as Python or R.

• Provide analytics support, product understanding, and strategic perspective to product partners. • Partner with data engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to enable data-driven answers to key business problems. • Take initiative to define, build, and maintain business metrics and reports. • Develop and automate data pipelines and reports to enable insights at scale. • Weave stories with data to help stakeholders understand analytical insights.
