Pre-Sales Consultant - AI & Process Transformation, Public Sector

Join Celonis as Senior Value Engineer in the Value Engineering team, a highly technical, strategic, customer-facing group at the intersection of pre-sales, analytics, and transformation consulting. Act as technical and value lead for complex, regulated customers, working alongside Sales, Services, and partners to design and deliver data-driven value narratives, build tailored demos, and lead Proof-of-Value engagements that demonstrate measurable impact. Stay hands-on with data, code, and process analysis while operating confidently with senior stakeholders.

• Possess experience in technical pre-sales, solution consulting, sales engineering, or analytics consulting. • Demonstrate strong hands-on capability with SQL and working knowledge of Python. • Show experience analysing enterprise data and translating insights into business outcomes. • Display comfort working in live customer environments, building demos, and responding to technical questions. • Possess experience with enterprise systems such as SAP or similar ERP environments. • Show experience with implementing RPA and/or BI Tools and/or building Dashboards, Apps and Action Flows. • Demonstrate experience working in Public Sector, Healthcare, Defence, or other highly regulated environments. • Display understanding of governance, compliance, data security, and risk considerations. • Show ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders in complex organisations. • Demonstrate strong consulting mindset with ability to structure problems and lead workshops. • Possess experience managing multiple workstreams and stakeholder expectations. • Display excellent communication and presentation skills, including C-level audiences. • Hold degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Data, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or similar. • Show eligibility for UK Security Check (SC) clearance is required; existing clearance is strong advantage.

• Display existing UK Security Check (SC) clearance. • Show experience with Celonis Process Intelligence Platform. • Demonstrate experience in process mining technology. • Possess knowledge of Finance and Supply Chain operational processes. • Display experience facilitating value workshops with business, IT, and data teams. • Show ability to develop strategic roadmaps for platform adoption. • Demonstrate experience providing structured feedback to Product and Engineering teams. • Possess understanding of change management programmes in regulated environments.

• Partner with Sales to lead technical pre-sales engagements, including discovery, demos, and Proof-of-Value projects. • Use SQL and Python to analyse customer data, build insights, and support value quantification. • Translate Public Sector and regulated-industry challenges into high-impact Celonis use cases. • Build compelling business cases and value narratives aligned to compliance, efficiency, and operational resilience. • Facilitate value workshops with business, IT, and data teams. • Identify and quantify opportunities across Finance, Supply Chain, and core operational processes. • Define improvement initiatives and support change programmes that drive measurable outcomes. • Present findings and realised value to senior leaders and executive stakeholders. • Own end-to-end customer value journey: landing, adoption, expansion, and renewal. • Develop strategic roadmaps to embed Celonis as core process intelligence platform. • Provide structured feedback to Product and Engineering based on real customer use cases.
