About the role

💼 What you will do

• Support the People & Culture Manager in delivering the full HR portfolio for the organisation. • Coordinate the recruitment of new colleagues and ensure hiring practices are strictly followed. • Assist the wider team with day-to-day queries and help them understand policies and processes. • Contribute to organisation-wide projects such as pay reviews and learning initiatives.

📋 Job Requirements

• Hold a CIPD qualification or equivalent with solid knowledge of employment law and HR best practices. • Demonstrate proven experience in coordinating the recruitment and onboarding of staff. • Possess working knowledge of various HR and recruitment systems. • Exhibit an empathetic, people-first approach to HR with a solutions-focused mindset. • Show the ability to work proactively and independently while managing workload effectively.

• Have experience working specifically within the charity or non-profit sector. • Demonstrate a strong passion for using skills to tackle climate change and advance climate justice. • Display strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex HR situations. • Show the ability to build and manage relationships with colleagues and external suppliers. • Possess active listening skills to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal HR and recruitment systems to ensure smooth operations. • Own the recruitment process for new colleagues and ensure adherence to hiring practices. • Support the wider team of 25+ people with queries regarding HR policies and processes. • Work closely with the People & Culture Manager on organisation-wide HR projects. • Maintain a commitment to centring Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion principles in all work.
