Staff Content Designer, FinCrime

• Lead content design strategy and projects working across cross-functional teams that make up FinCrime • Help keep Wise safe for customers and balance meeting regulatory obligations with building world-class customer experiences • Take complex ideas and package them down to simple, neat concepts • Educate customers on what can and can't be done via Acceptable Use Policy • Provide alternative ways to avoid account disabling and customer turnover

• Demonstrate hands-on experience of content design and working in UX • Write with empathy but also flex in tonality and approach (be firm and clear about penalties when needed) • Shape Acceptable Use Policy into something that people can read • Help prevent violations of AUP in new and experimental ways • Drive empathetic communications for victims affected by scams and frauds • Work with Funds Risks teams to identify criminal activity (money muling and fraudsters) • Develop strategies for how to increase trust in Wise and make people feel safer and more secure using platform

• Experience working in financial crime or regulatory compliance space • Background in writing for vulnerable audiences • Experience developing tone of voice guidelines for sensitive situations

• Lead content design strategy for FinCrime teams • Drive empathetic communications for victims affected by scams and frauds • Create proactive educational nudges and strategies around what is and isn't allowed on Wise app money transfers • Ensure communications like customer success emails, victim report flows, and educational nudges make people feel safe, secure, and cared for • Own content strategy for identifying and communicating with bad actors • Develop fair and proportional tone of voice for customers at risk of violating terms • Help defend against bad actors who are money laundering or financing terrorist activities • Keep vulnerable parties on Wise safe
