About the role

💼 What you will do

• Join the Data Tracking team within the Technology organization in a high-impact role. • Enable high-quality, reliable data from product, website, and third-party tools. • Make data accessible and actionable for teams across Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Data. • Ensure data is accurately collected, processed, and routed to the data warehouse, marketing platforms, and product platforms. • Play a key role in data governance strategy, including cookie management.

📋 Job Requirements

• Foundation in digital data with familiarity in web analytics, digital tracking, or marketing data. • Ideally previous experience with SaaS or e-commerce. • Eagerness to master tools like Tag Management Systems and analytics platforms like Google Analytics, Amplitude, and Segment. • Experience implementing tracking for marketing performance, including conversions, impressions, and custom events. • Understanding of user identification concepts (anonymous vs. known users), conversion tracking models, and channel attribution. • Basic knowledge of marketing platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, and LinkedIn Ads. • Familiarity with cookies and user consent concepts. • Collaborative mindset with ability to work with diverse teams (Product, Marketing, Engineering). • Ability to translate data requirements into concrete steps for implementation. • Clear communication skills.

🌟 Nice-to-have

• Experience with a Consent Management Platform (CMP) such as OneTrust. • Previous experience with Segment implementation and maintenance. • Background in Google Tag Manager configuration and management. • Experience defining tracking plans for product features and marketing campaigns. • Knowledge of data warehouse structures and event naming conventions. • Familiarity with data governance best practices.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Contribute to tracking plans by helping drive high-level definition of tracking for new product features, marketing campaigns, and web experiences. • Learn to connect business goals to clear data requirements. • Maintain data standards ensuring event naming, metadata structure, and data formats align with the existing data ecosystem. • Leverage documentation and collaborate with peers on data consistency. • Act as the translator between business needs and technical execution. • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Engineering to convert business needs into clear, actionable tracking specifications. • Manage key tools by overseeing implementation and maintenance of tracking using Segment and Google Tag Manager. • Coordinate closely with Engineering teams to guide seamless and accurate integration of tracking across web and product environments. • Provide data requirements to Engineering partners for implementation.
